This is a single cask Bruichladdich from Islay, distilled on 14 September 2010 and bottled on 19 May 2026 at 15 years old by C. Dully Selection. It was matured in a Château d'Yquem barrique and bottled at cask strength, 53.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 265 bottles. The Sauternes cask shapes the whisky's flavour rather than simply influencing it. The nose offers apricots, tropical fruit, honey and candied citrus, with the rich fruitiness of sweet Sauternes. On the palate, apricot, tropical fruit and honey meet candied citrus, with malt and a maritime freshness underneath. The finish stays fruity, with honey and candied citrus.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
