This is a 22-year-old Bruichladdich single malt from Islay, bottled by the independent bottler Artful Dodger at 54.4% ABV in a 500ml bottle. It matured in a single Sauternes cask for its whole time in wood.
The nose is complex, combining a maritime character with the honeyed fruit of the famous dessert wine. On the palate the whisky is dense and oily, with ripe yellow fruit and a subtle oak spice that sits well within the whole.
