This Bruichladdich is a 30 year old single malt from a single hogshead, aged for just over 30 years and bottled in a 70cl bottle as the SMOS Director's Special. It is pale in colour.
The nose recalls a summer garden, with elderflower, nettle cordial and honeysuckle. The palate is like honey water, with tarragon and mint spreading across it over a delicate bed of spice.
