Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2013 is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, distilled entirely from bere barley, an ancient grain grown by Orkney College's Agronomy Institute. It was matured for ten years in first-fill bourbon casks and Pauillac wine casks, and bottled at 50% ABV with no added colouring and no chill filtration. The nose is citrus, tropical fruit and malty sweetness. On the palate it is rich with cereal notes, alongside green fruit and spiced gingerbread.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
