Bruichladdich – Black Art 10.1 2022 Edition (70cl, 45.1%)

This is Black Art 10.1 from Bruichladdich, the tenth edition of the distillery's limited Black Art series, released in 2022 and bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is an unpeated 29 year old from the 1993 vintage, made with casks from the distillery's pre-renaissance era that have matured on Islay for almost three decades. The series is built around the alchemy of whisky making, drawing on nature, craft and the passing of time. The type of barley and cask stays a mystery, and the final recipe is not revealed.
