Bruichladdich – Islay Barley 2011

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2011 is a single malt whisky from Bruichladdich, distilled from barley grown on six farms in the west and centre of Islay. The barley was harvested in 2010. It belongs to the distillery's Islay Barley series, which sets out to show terroir in single malt. The idea is that soil, climate, micro-climate, orientation, natural influences and local weather shape the quality and flavour of the spirit, making each bottling an expression of place.
