Bruichladdich – Laddie Origins Fèis Ìle 2021 7 Year Old (70cl, 56.3%)

This is Bruichladdich Laddie Origins, the distillery's official festival bottling for Fèis Ìle 2021. It is a 7 year old single malt at 56.3%, in a 70cl bottle. The release marks the 20th anniversary of the distillery's resurrection and brings together 13 casks from 12 different vintages. The barley includes Islay-grown and organic Scottish barley, the distillery's first biodynamically grown barley, and some of its first triple distilled spirit. Nine cask types were used, among them bourbon, Pedro Ximénez sherry, Cognac, Sauternes, Chenin Blanc and Pauillac red wine. The outturn was 3,000 bottles.
