Bruichladdich – Micro-Provenance Series Single Cask #0639 (70cl, 64.4%)

This is a single cask Islay malt from Bruichladdich's Micro-Provenance Series, bottled at 64.4% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is unpeated and was bottled at natural strength. The series is a range of single casks hand-picked by Head Distiller Adam Hannett, chosen for flavour rather than age. Each bottle is a snapshot in time taken from the distillery's wider stock. It is described as showing orchard fruits, delicate floral notes and creamy vanilla on a smooth palate, with a lingering maritime freshness.
