Octomore 13.1 is a heavily peated single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from 100% Scottish Mainland barley of the 2015 harvest, malted to 137.3 PPM.
The whisky spent five years in American oak Bourbon barrels.
The peat smoke is described as sitting behind a floral, malty spirit and sweet American oak, with smoked apricot jam, burnt heather and Turkish delight.
