Octomore 14.1 is a heavily smoked Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 59.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the 14th annual Octomore series.
The whisky was matured for five years in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks, which show the character of its raw ingredients and the balance between smoke, malt, cask and maturation.
On the nose, sweet caramel and vanilla come first, with bright citrus cutting through the signature Octomore smoke, lifted by roasted coffee and subtle spice.
