Octomore 14.3 is a five-year-old Islay single malt from the heavily peated Octomore series made by Bruichladdich. It is bottled undiluted at 61.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the series is released in numbered, limited bottlings.
The whisky was distilled in 2017 from Concerto barley grown on two fields of Octomore Farm on Islay, and its phenol level is 214.2 PPM. It matured partly in first-fill American whiskey casks and partly in second-fill wine casks.
The aromas include oak, smouldering peat, vanilla and caramel, meadow flowers, porridge, malted barley and earthy smoke.
