Bruichladdich Octomore 15.2 is a heavily peated Islay single malt, bottled at 57.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was aged in a combination of Oloroso and Amarone casks, which bring dark fruit and spice to the smoke.
The nose is led by peat smoke, with dried figs, espresso, dark chocolate and oak spice. The palate is richly textured, with red berries, toasted almonds and warm cinnamon. The finish is long and smoky, with hints of sea salt and leather.
