Octomore 16.3 is a super heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 61.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Series 16 releases and is made from 100% Concerto barley grown in Church Field on Octomore Farm.
The spirit was distilled in 2019 from the 2018 harvest and aged for five years in bourbon, Sauternes and Pedro Ximénez casks. The phenol level is 189.5 parts per million.
It is described as honeyed malt and toasted grain with a distinctive earthiness, and delicate threads of smoke and salinity.
