Bruichladdich – Octomore 16.3 (70cl)

Octomore 16.3 is a heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, part of the Series 16 releases. It is sold in a 70cl bottle. The barley comes from a single estate: it was grown in Church Field on Octomore Farm, and the bottling looks at what that local grain brings to the spirit, alongside heavy peat and long cask maturation. It is described as honeyed malt and toasted grain with a distinctive earthiness, touched by delicate smoke and salinity and a subtle floral note.
