The whisky was matured for its full term in first-fill bourbon barrels.
Tasting notes describe vanilla milkshake, Scottish tablet and warm custard tart alongside pear drops and malt syrup. The peat builds in waves of dry, earthy smoke, smouldering oak and ash, while salinity cuts through the sweetness.
