Bruichladdich – Octomore Single Cask 12 Year Old 2025 (70cl, 56.3%)

This is a single cask Octomore from Bruichladdich, aged 12 years and bottled at 56.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2012 from barley malted to 156 PPM and matured for 12 years in second-fill Rivesaltes casks. The whisky was matured and bottled on Islay, and the cask was hand selected by Master Blender Adam Hannett. Barley variety, cask type, strength, PPM and vintage are specific to each cask, so this bottling cannot be repeated. Octomore is named after a farm, from the Gaelic for eighth manor, about two miles from the distillery, where an earlier distillery operated from 1816 until 1852.
