Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 is a 10 year old Islay single malt, introduced in 2018 as the flagship Port Charlotte expression. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is peated to 40ppm and matured in a mix of first-fill and second-fill American whiskey casks together with second-fill French wine casks.
On the nose it is typically described as salted caramel brownie, flamed orange peel and seaweed. The palate brings oaky smoke and salty sea air alongside custard cream biscuits and white grape, and the finish is ginger snaps, rye toast and drying peat smoke.
