Bruichladdich – Port Charlotte 10 Years Old Heavily Peated (1L)

This is Port Charlotte 10 Year Old from Bruichladdich, a heavily peated Islay single malt introduced in 2018 as the flagship Port Charlotte expression. It is peated to 40 PPM and comes in a 1 litre bottle. The whisky is matured in first-fill and second-fill American whiskey casks together with second-fill French wine casks. The nose has salted caramel, chocolate brownies, orange zest and seaweed. On the palate are oak smoke, sea air, custard cream biscuits and white grapes. The finish is long and warming, with peat smoke, rye toast and gingerbread.
