Port Charlotte PC8 Ar Dùthchas is an 8 year old cask strength Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 60.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourth expression in the PC series and pays homage to the forefathers who shaped the Rhinns of Islay.
The nose opens with sea spray and peat smoke, with pepper and lemon, then heather and myrtle. The palate is viscous, rich and oily, with peat fire and sweet, oaky Demerara sugar, and marine notes run through the oak sweetness.
