Bruichladdich Eighteen is the first permanent 18-year-old single malt in the distillery's range. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled from the first harvest of barley grown on Islay, together with organic barley and barley varieties from the Scottish mainland. The whisky matured entirely on Islay, mainly in ex-bourbon casks with a small number of wine casks. The nose is ripe peach and honeysuckle with violet and lavender, set against vanilla, coconut and charred oak, then melon, apricot, citrus, honey, caramel and crème brûlée. The palate is full and almost viscous, with honey, butterscotch and fresh fruit, then tropical fruit and soft toasted oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
