Bruichladdich – Scottish Barley The Classic Laddie

Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie is an Islay single malt distilled entirely from Scottish barley. It is unpeated. Master Distiller Jim McEwan put it together from selected casks, aiming to show the floral, elegant house style of Bruichladdich. The nose opens with barley sugar and a hint of mint, then freshly cut wildflowers; with water come caramelised fruit, lemon juice and honey. On the palate there is sweet oak and barley, followed by ripe green fruit, brown sugar and sweet malt. The finish is warm and long.
