This is a 10 year old unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The barley is all Scottish-grown, from the mainland, Islay and organic parcels, and the spirit is trickle distilled. Everything is matured on Islay. Master Blender Adam Hannett selects the casks, so batches can vary slightly, and a code on each bottle identifies the maturation.
The nose is fruit-driven, with orchard fruit, lemon rind, orange, apricot, mango, peach, toasted oak, vanilla and toffee. The palate is rounded, with citrus, candied peel, barley sugar, marzipan and cedar. The finish is mineral, with stone fruit and citrus.
