The Classic Laddie is a single malt from Bruichladdich, created by Jim McEwan to represent the distillery's classic, unpeated style. It is made from 100% Scottish barley, matured in American oak casks and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is elegantly sweet, with honeyed barley, boiled sweets and orange petals, and a hint of sea air. The palate has red apples and white grapes with touches of sweet cinnamon and brown sugar, still softly coastal. The finish is mineral-rich malt with toffee and more honey.
