Bruichladdich – The Classic Laddie Sherry Cask Edition (50%)

This is an unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 50% ABV. The Classic Laddie is the distillery's core expression, and this edition is finished in sherry casks from the Fernando de Castilla bodega in Jerez. The sherry influence is described as fine and elegant, lighter than many first-fill casks, with depth of fruit and spice. It sits alongside the bright, cereal-led, maritime character of the spirit rather than covering it. It is bottled without added colour and without chill-filtering.
