Bruichladdich The Organic 2011 is an Islay single malt distilled in 2011 from certified organic barley grown on selected Scottish farms. It matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak.
It was bottled at 50% ABV with no added colouring and without chill filtering.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with green apple, pear and light citrus over vanilla, grass and a little honey. The palate is soft and round, with ripe stone fruit, barley and gentle vanilla. The finish is medium and soft, with light oak and a dry, grainy end.
