Bruichladdich – The Organic 2011 (70cl)

Bruichladdich The Organic 2011 is a vintage single malt from the distillery's Barley Provenance series, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from organically grown barley and distilled slowly in tall, narrow-necked stills. The barley comes from Mid Coul farm near Inverness, which supplied the distillery's first organic crop in 2003. The estate recycles almost all of its waste as fertiliser and generates electricity from an anaerobic digester. The spirit is matured in American oak. It is described as rich and creamy with a full mouthfeel, with vanilla, fudge, honeyed citrus, ripe fruit and delicate spices.
