Bruichladdich – The Organic (1L, 50%)

This is Bruichladdich The Organic, a single malt in a one-litre bottle at 50% ABV. It comes from the project the Islay distillery began in 2003, since which it has regularly released whiskies kept as natural as possible. The barley is not dried over peat fire. After distillation the malt matured for at least eight years in bourbon casks. Bruichladdich stands on the shore of Loch Indaal on Islay. It was founded in 1881 by the brothers Robert, William and John Gourlay Harvey, closed in 1929 and reopened in 2001.
