Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Castello Banfi

A red wine from Tuscany, made from Sangiovese grosso. It comes from a manual harvest and ageing in French oak barrels, developing complexity and balance. In the glass it is intense ruby with garnet reflections, with aromas of ripe cherry, wild blackberry, sweet spices and a touch of tobacco. On the palate it is enveloping and decisive, with soft but well-structured tannins and a long persistence. It suits roast red meats, game and aged cheeses.
