Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Pinino

A Brunello di Montalcino from Pinino, described as a Riserva expressing the typical character of Montalcino Sangiovese with concentration and finesse. It shows a deep ruby colour, with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, undergrowth, sweet tobacco and spice. The palate is enveloping yet firm, with well-defined tannins and inner freshness that balance the fruit. It is best served slightly decanted at around 16–18 °C, and suits braised dishes, red meat roasts and aged cheeses, or contemplative drinking on its own.
