Brusa Barbera Rubicone IGT is a red wine from Italy. It shows a bright ruby colour with a fragrant voice recalling ripe cherry, small red fruits and a subtle herbaceous note. The nose is precise rather than complex, while the palate surprises with acidic tension balancing a medium body and smooth tannins, giving freshness and savouriness. The structure is linear, with a smooth finish and a light spicy return that invites another sip. It suits pasta with sauce, cured meats, rustic pizza, flavourful white meats and semi-aged cheeses, and is best served around 14-16 °C after a few minutes of opening.
