Buchanan's Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1960s, in a bottle marked 0.415 Imperial gallon. Its colour is gold. The nose is honeyed, with cake notes and a broad bouquet of flowers: pollen, nectar, iris, orange blossom and honeysuckle, alongside old Sauternes, pineapple jam and assorted Turkish delights. The palate has a honeyed profile with dried figs and dates. The finish is long, with salty, smoky notes of mezcal in the aftertaste.
