Buffalo Trace Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, in a 1.75 litre bottle at 90 proof. The mash is corn, rye and malted barley, and the spirit ages in new, charred oak barrels.
The nose offers vanilla, mint and molasses with sweet caramel and gentle oak. The palate is rich and sweet, with brown sugar, spice, oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. The finish is long, with oak, vanilla and subtle spice.
