Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a Kentucky bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 45% in a one litre bottle. The mash is made from corn, rye and malted barley, and the whiskey spends several years in heavily charred American oak.
Colouring has been added. On the nose there is vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit with a touch of mint and spicy oak. The palate is soft and balanced, with toffee, brown sugar, vanilla and light fruit alongside gentle spice and wood. The finish is medium to long and warm, with vanilla, spice and oak.
