Bulleit Barrel Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

A barrel strength Kentucky straight bourbon from Bulleit, made with the same high-rye mash bill as the standard Bulleit Bourbon. The selected barrels were emptied and combined into a single batch, with no water added afterwards. It was aged and bottled at Stitzel-Weller in Louisville, and it is non-chill filtered. Strength varies from batch to batch, generally between 120 and 125 proof. The colour is a medium amber. The nose is gently spicy with sweet oak. On the palate come maple, oak and nutmeg, and the finish is long, dry and satiny, with a light toffee note and deeper oak.
