Bunnahabhain – 12 Year Old 1990s Single Malt (1L, 43%)

A 12-year-old Bunnahabhain single malt from the 1990s, in a one-litre bottle at 43%. This distillery bottling was widely seen as an ideal introduction to Islay whiskies, offering the island's flavours in milder form. Rich and oily yet restrained and easy to drink, it defined Bunnahabhain's character in that decade. For many years it was the only whisky in the distillery's core range, until an 18 and a 25 year old joined it in 2006.
