This is Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old, an Islay single malt that opened the distillery's range. It is matured in bourbon and sherry casks, and bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The distillery describes a balance of sweet fruit, nuts and vanilla, with a light coastal influence.
The nose is fresh and aromatic, fruity and floral, with dried fruit and a little smoke. On the palate it is light and nutty, with fruit, sweetness and touches of vanilla and caramel. The finish is long, rich and full-bodied.
