An 18 year old single malt from Bunnahabhain on Islay, bottled on 16 August 2019 at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Sherry-influenced maturation gives a mahogany colour. The distillery's position on the north of Islay, on the Sound of Islay, brings a maritime note without covering the pronounced sherry and malt character.
Dried fruit, sherry, toffee, spices, honey and nuts are described, with a light touch of sea salt.
