Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and shows a rich mahogany shade.
The whisky matured for 18 years on the coast of Islay, in sherry casks, which gives it a mix of sherried fruit and a light touch of sea salt.
The nose offers dried fruit, rich honeyed nuts, toffee and hints of spice. On the palate there are soft sherry, dried fruit and rich oak, with toffee and a little salt. The finish is dry and fruity, with a touch of spice and salt.
