This 17 year old Bunnahabhain was distilled on 18 February 2008 and bottled in the winter of 2025/26. It is part of Claxton's Warehouse No. 1 series, in an outturn of just 130 bottles.
The whisky matured in a sherry barrel.
The nose is aromatic, with apricots in syrup, brandy and a little gingerbread. The palate shows intense sherry, with soft waves of wood smoke, ginger and warming spices. The finish is very oaky, with an echo of stewed fruit.
