This is an 11-year-old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2020 by North Star Spirits as part of their late 2020 releases. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 52.3%.
It was matured in a single first-fill oloroso sherry butt, which yielded 630 bottles.
The nose brings gingerbread with raisins and vanilla icing. The palate is smooth sherry treacle with tablet. The finish is very long, lingering with chocolate caramel wafer biscuit.
