Aonadh, pronounced 'Oon-ouch', is a 10 year old limited edition single malt from Bunnahabhain, the 2011 release, bottled at 56% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together port-finished and sherry-matured Bunnahabhain.
The nose is rich and creamy, with vanilla, brandy butter, caramel, berries and a touch of oak. On the palate, sweet red and black fruits meet cinnamon spice and roasted nuts, with a slight saltiness at the back. The finish is long, with fading spice that recalls chilli chocolate, and hints of floral candy.
