Bunnahabhain – 34 Year Old 1968 Auld Acquaintance (70cl, 43.2%)

This is a 34 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1968 and bottled by the distillery in 2002. It was drawn from a very small batch of sherry casks, filled on 31st December 1968. That filling date explains the name Auld Acquaintance, and the bottle carries a neck tag marking it as a Limited Hogmanay Edition. It was bottled at 43.2%, its natural cask strength, in a 70cl bottle.
