A 35-year-old Bunnahabhain from Islay, distilled in 1989 and matured in a refill American hogshead. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 25 April 2025 in the Connoisseurs Choice series. A total of 108 bottles were filled, unfiltered and in natural amber colour.
Gorse flowers and ripe apple on the nose come with honey, a light leather note and tart quince. The palate brings juicy mango and tropical fruit with ginger spice and a fine menthol touch. The finish is lively with citrus and a delicate aniseed spice.
