Bunnahabhain Ceòbanach is a limited-edition, intensely peated Islay single malt. Its name is Gaelic for smoky mist, and it is a tribute to 19th-century Islay. Heavy peating is unusual for Bunnahabhain, which is normally known for a soft, unpeated style. The whisky is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Salty smoke, like wet driftwood on the shore, leads, with sweet malt, light spices and creamy vanilla beneath. The texture is full and oily.
