Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is an Islay single malt matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The name is Scots Gaelic for 'helmsman'.
It has a brackish, coastal character, with sea spray and dried fruit alongside the sherry influence.
The nose offers dried fruit and creamy caramel with brine, vanilla, nuts and a touch of spice. The palate is creamy, with dried fruit, sea salt, caramel, nuts and gentle spice. The finish is long, with dried fruit lingering.
