Bunnahbahain Staoisha is a heavily peated ten-year-old Islay single malt, bottled independently by The Ultimate in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 13 October 2014 and bottled in July 2025 at 46% ABV, after maturation in refill butts.
The nose opens with a firm portion of peat smoke and ashes, alongside apple, mint, vanilla and some spice. On the palate the peat and ashes lead again, followed by mandarin, vanilla, cinnamon, pepper and ginger. The finish carries more smoke, with dark chocolate and spices.
