This is an older bottling of Bushmills 12 Year Old Distiller's Selection, an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in oloroso sherry casks chosen by Colum Egan, the Master Distiller, which gives the edition its name.
The maturation adds complexity, with notes of honey, vanilla, dried fruit and dark chocolate. The finish is spicy and brings out the malty aromas.
