This is a 14 year old Irish single malt from Bushmills, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled from 100% malted barley.
The whiskey matures entirely in bourbon barrels and is then finished in Malaga wine casks. The finish adds notes of mango, pineapple and ginger.
It has a golden chestnut colour. The nose is honey, vanilla and gentle mandarin orange with warm spice. On the palate come mango, pineapple, apricot, ginger, cinnamon, milk chocolate and caramel, followed by gentle oak and floral notes. The finish is long and crisp, with vanilla, apricot and mandarin turning to warm spice.
