Bushmills 25 Year Old is a small batch Irish single malt. It began its maturation in bourbon barrels and sherry butts, then spent 21 years in a first-fill ruby port pipe.
The port pipes came from a family cooperage and are made from European oak.
On the nose it shows intense dark fruit with a honey sweetness. The palate moves to rich dark chocolate mixed with sweet spices.
