Bushmills American Oak Cask Finish is an Irish whisky from the Bushmills Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is finished in American oak casks.
The nose opens with an elegant oak note, toasted spices and caramelised biscuits, followed by liquid honey and floral vanilla. On the palate a soft, buttery grain leads to oatmeal biscuit, vanilla cream and hard toffee, with fruity touches of apple pie.
The finish is gentle spice, deep oak and a hint of burnt sugar.
